Crazy story from today

i'll make this as quick as possible.

took my dog to the groomer, and told her to be careful since hes on medication for possible TBI's. and she asked if i was sick too.. I said yes, i am sick with lyme or a TBI. she asked me the symptoms i've been having. so i told her, and said her husband has been having the same stuff..

She was busy, so i left, she called me back to come pick up rocco, when i get there, its just me and her and her husband that looked like death. almost as bad as me.. He was coughing, i asked him how do you feel, he said, i feel like a walking zombie, i can't sleep, i'm depressed, i'm sore, i cough for no reason, it feels like i'm dying.. i said yeah, well, thats i how i feel too.. I said, did you ever have a tick on you? or did you ever see a bullseye rash, he said i had this pipe like mark on me that was odd, but it went away within a week, and then i was sick.. I said yeah, you have a form of LYME... I gave them all the information they needed (igenex stuff, and everything they need from their pcp).

i live in a small town in missouri, i never thought i would meet someone in my town going through the exact same thing i'm going through at the moment... This is how big this disease is!!!!

p.s. still waiting on rocco results, i called, but they haven't made it in yet...

I am so VERY proud of you! Look at you! You are stronger than you think you are. Thats so great that you took time out like that, even though you are sick yourself.

i'm trying to be a positive as i can, yes, i'm sick and feel like crap.. but my job is know to help as everyone has helped me here...I'm suppose to help myself and my dog also.. but, i really do think i might have at least saved them some money.. Because they *were* on the unknown path of "what is wrong with me" and i dunno if they are very savy about re-searching to much..

i really think i saved him, and almost became doctor james and did a diagnose right there..

I told them about 'under our skin" and about this forum and about DR. C in MO. and also "gracies mom" i will tell them about the other DRs too.

I was so happy to help, even though it does feel somewhat surrell knowing that he is going through it also with me, but i really feel good about maybe saving his life to a certain degree..

i was talking so much about it and helping him, i totally forgot about my porkchops i bought from the grocery store, got back in the car and they were green and brown and hot.. i had to go back and buy another set of fresh pork chops.. o well.. worth it!!!!

tongue   That did make me laugh...especially because I've been known to do things like that too!

And James- Good for you, and I hope that gave you a little boost. I always feel a little (or a lot) better after I do something for someone else- no matter how rotten I was feeling before. Especially when it's with something controversial like this! That took guts!

Hope you and Rocco are doing well!
