Hi Guys:) Re-Introduction of Myself

Hey everyone. I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be helping out 1Bitten2XShy in Moderating the Lyme Forum. I am VERY honored that I was chosen and I hope you will all be happy with me.

I wanted to post some things about myself for the people that don't know me well yet. I am 39 years old and have been married for 15 years. I have 2 daughters, one who is 19 and one 15. My family means the world to me. I also have 2 dogs and 2 cats. I am an animal lover as well and I used to save stray cats and adopt them out to good homes.

I was diagnosed with Lyme in 2007 but didn't start treatment then because it was very overwhelming for me and I really didn't know enough about Lyme. I felt alot better in 2008 and pretty much brushed off the notion of having Lyme Disease until I got really sick the end of last year and had a bad herx on antibiotics. So....here I am, starting treatment and wishing for the best.

I will try really hard to do everything I need to do here and I hope everyone is happy with me. You are all my friends and you all know I care for each of you. Having Lyme is a hard road and it will be a whinding road for most of us but we have each other and thats what counts.

Congratulations! I think you're perfect for the job and have been meaning to e-mail you to encourage you to take the spot. You always do such an awesome job of informing and supporting everyone.

It's great that there are two co-moderators so you can take it easy when you're not feeling up to it. I know you go through some difficult times and hope you take it easy when you're not up to it. lol Okay, now I hope I don't get into trouble for lecturing the new moderator but I'm worried about you. LOL

CG i am glad you change that yellow color. i was about to have to get my sunglasses out and its almost 1:30am here LOL

Congratulations!!   I think you will do a super job!   I believe it takes a really big heart to do this and I can tell you have one.   

And I also love animals!   Used to have 2 doggies but now I have 2 cats!  I don't know what I would do without my furry children.
