I'm starting to wonder if the well known neurologist I saw last year was right about
my brain lesions...they are in the periventricular white matter, which is common for MS but also common for Migraine. I do not get migraines any more (knock on wood) but I did have migraine w/aura as a child. I wouldn't be able to talk or read and would have zero peripheral vision. I'm only concerned about
this because I was thinking today that my lesions are pretty big (14mm and 1 cm) but they were there within months of my first symptom (dizziness). I know that people can have lesions and no symptoms and they can have symptoms and no lesions...but maybe these lesions really were from my bad migraines as a child (?) They say lesions are much more common in people that get the aura accompanying the migraine.
Hmm...........
