Is 1500mg/day Tindamax(Tinidazol) too much?

I take 1500mg Tindamax(Tinidazol) with Biaxin1500mg/d and Ciprobay1000mg/d.

I never saw people who take this huge amount of AB.

Do you think is it safe?
Or do you know any LLMD who will answer for my email if I ask him?
I'm from Europe, so I cannot go to the US now.

I was on that amount of Tindi for over a year. I also was on Biaxin and Ceftin in high MG's at the same time.

Hi hope_29.  Are you being treated by a Lyme doctor?  Can you discuss this with him/her?  I don't think a doctor would email you without having seen you and/or knowing your history.

Many Lyme doctors follow Dr. Burrascano's treatment guidelines. He lists recommended doses of Flagyl (Metronidazole) as "Metronidazole: 500 to 1500 mg daily in divided doses."  You can find this on the bottom of page 18 at http://www.ilads.org/lyme_disease/B_guidelines_12_17_08.pdf  Other antibiotic doses are listed there also.

Thank you for answers.

I asked the doctor, who is LLMD, about amount and time.

And also, because he told me that lyme doesn't cause heat intolerance, I sent him an article about it: http://www.rifelabs.com/heat-and-lyme.html

He told me this article is not true, and don't read about lyme, because you don't understand it, it is even hard for a doctor.

Also I asked him, why I have to stop taking ABs after 8 weeks.
He said, because we will see where we are.
I heard from other lyme patients that he gives 7-8 weeks treatment with about 6 months breaks.
