I got to talk to a LLMD

I talked to a LLMD in Co. explained everything to him, and gave him a report on all my test, he quit his practise to teat for lyme as his wife has it. i was so socked when i called and he answered the phone. we talked for about an hour and he told me i needed IV abx. but that he is not able to do the IVs.

so he then gave me the  name an number of another LLMD in Co springs. anyone have any info on this Dr. please share :)

Hi there:) How are you doing today?

The doctor she talked to knew that she needed IV antibiotics because she has alot of neuro problems. Having neuro problems with Lyme usually calls for aggressive treatment. And IV antibiotics also break the blood brain barrier.

how far away from Denton Tx. are you? there is another LLMD there. its over 600 miles for me and so is the one i called in Co. i chose to call him as he was close to my b/f family in Wy. so i wouldn't have a hotel bill. but he even told me of the one in Tx. this man also left his reg practise to treat lyme as a family member has it.
it is so sad this has to happen for them to wake up to the disease. email me and i will pass you the info.

i explained everything to him. all my tests MRI EMG Blood and so on, he said my bans 23 was only lyme specific and i should be in aggressive treatment. and that i was in NJ should of told the ID i was not a false positive.

on Monday i will be calling the other one he gave me the info on, and go from there. now i have possible found a Dr. i have to work out a way to go and pay for it. this alone can be the hardest part for me.

Neurological Lyme usually needs IV abx.
RD has severe neuro symptoms

i am praying! things really cant get worse. i know i need treatment and i know i cant get it here where i live so far. so when i call on Monday and the they say either yes or no to helping me i am either going to get better or i am in the same boat I've been in. but i will not go down without a fight.

now maybe my neuro will be willing to treat me if i get confirmation from a reputable Dr too as he is right here. he is the only one i have seen so far who doesn't say there is no lyme here or you have a false positive. he just goes by a lot more then the test alone. i am due to have a LP on Tuesday. then i will know if he will believe i have lyme or not.

1 thing in my favor is i have copies of my tests. please anyone reading this who doesn't get there copies do so now as it can mean big savings and less testing in the long run.

RD, I am so happy for you and wish you all the best with this new doctor. It all sounds very hopeful. Sending you lots of prayers, hugs and positive thoughts.


TryingAnything, I haven't been on the forum much the past week or so and just have to ask - Are you lymekiller posting the same questions and comments now using a different name? If not, I apologize for asking. If so, I doubt you are going to find that our responses have changed much from two weeks ago.

RD, I truly hope this works out for you!  Your case is one of the most criminal cases I have known! Once you get  your answers and your treatment, I hope you have a whopper lawsuit for the negligence you have endured!

scorpio and +lyme, thank you both for your thoughts and prayers, as you have them in return from me.

as for the lawsuit. once i have proof positive documation to back it up . you can bet your sweet buttooty i will be right on it. i do not ever want to see someone else have to go thro this bull. hipocrater oath my butt. they do more harm in my book by turning us away.

i am not alone when it comes to finding someone willing to work with us, but there is more who can not aford to pay out of pocket then can. so we do without? cause we cant work for being sick? why should we be made to suffer do to a disease we didnt ask for.

if i do this siuy witch i am more then willing to do. i will have it all set up to help others who cant aford to pay so they can get treatment too. this is my goal!!

scorpio, i have thought it was Lk too. it all adds up same bands same sx. same questions. just a new set of clothes..LOL it could be he wasnt killing the lyme fast enough, so he changed nics. and like you if i am wrong i am sorry. as i do not want any heard feeling to come of it.
