Ticker, and/or anyone: Artemisinin dose for babs?

Ticker, I'm looking at the Art link you sent to me and am figuring out what to do.  How did you decide how much to take?  Is there anyone out there on Art alone for babs?

I used 300 mg Artemesinin (allergy research) 3X/day -- but do start slowly as you will Herx - just do one the first day. I did that and after a couple of months added in Zhang's Artemesiae-

BTW I used herbs alone when first diagnosed and did okay for 6 months then became very sick from Lyme/Babs and needed antibiotics. I am fully cured of Babs but did 5 months Azithromycin and Mepron (with Artemesinin) ........even now (5 months since coming off Mepron) I still take 200 mg Artemesinin 3 X/day and 3 Zhang Artemesinin and plan so for another year -- I was told there is some cross cover for Bart as well (from Artemesinin).

I am treating for Bart and Lyme (my worst load as I prob had Lyme as a kid) I am doing very well- nearly fully functional!!!!There is light!!!! I do EVERYTHING...herbs, prayer, juicing, antibiotics, I constantly talk to myself about how well I am getting, I detox, you name it I do it......and its working

Not a dumb question-- Artemesinin is the extract (active ingredient) from Artmesia.......Dr Zhang's Artemesiae is an extract of the extract and is about 1 1/2 - 2 x stronger-- the smaller size allows better penetration into tissues.

Just wondering why you are not supposed to take arteminisae for more than 3 months straight?

According to Zhang you can use it long term but it can affect the liver.. Because of Claforan myliver is checked every week or 2 . I use Zhang's I3C and Circulation P , as well as milk thistle and acupuncture so I am being careful . .. So do take care with long term use
