NEGATIVE on WB Test- If you have time, your thoughts please :)

Lyme Ab IgG by WB: All absent exept IgG P41 Ab is Present

Lyme Ab IgM by WB: All absent except IgM P23 Ab is Present

So the Lyme IgM WB Interpretation is Negative.

I am being sent to a neurologist for possible MS.  Any thoughts?

band 23 is a specific to Bb, i also have this one show up. if you see a LLMD you should get treatment on that band alone. from my understandings

Sorry I don't have much info, but I didn't test pos. on the WB until AFTER I completed a full yr of high dose Mino. now I test pos for LD, RMSF, & one other TBI -sorry a lot of brain fog today!!

I hope you do find some answers!!!

Hi mokeyho,

Negative tests do not rule out Lyme, unfortunately. The testing is very inaccurate- although Igenix is better than other labs.

I would go see an LLMD- they will help you figure out what is wrong with you- WHATEVER it is. They are usually very careful about checking possibilities other than Lyme, and they are very thorough.

Also- be aware, Lyme can cause plaques on the brain (plaques are usually used to diagnose MS). I don't know if any will show up for you, but if they do, it could be Lyme just as easily as MS.

The good news is that plaques from Lyme can disapear with treatment.
