Tell me about babesia, malarone?

Dr strongly suspects babesia on top of lyme. starting me on zithromax and malarone.

Whats everyones experience with malarone? is there a herx with a malarial drug and protozon die-off?

Any info at all on both topics welcome :)

I am being treated for Babesia with Chinese herbs through Dr. Zhang. No experience with malarone, but as with anything that will die off, detoxing is very important. A portable infrared sauna can be purchased new off of ebay for under $200. SO very worth it!

Thanks for the response..sauna sounds nice...i aam on my laptop right now in my tub :).

Anyone have mepron, malarone reviews? dont see much on the web as far as drug reviews or what this drug can typically do as far as side effects, herx.

Hi Vin,

I was first prescribed Malorone but asked my doctor to switch me to Mepron since more people here have taken it. They are both anti-malarials. My pharmacist told me that one was a little stronger and I can't remember which one(Lyme brain).

I wasn't on Mepron for long but I did herx on it about an hour after I took it. I was very tired and ran a low grade fever.
