Hi everyone? How are y'all doing? I've been doing well and trying to forget about lyme disease, hoping I don't have to deal with it again. But I do have a weird rash right now that the doc can't figure out, and I wanted to ask you all about Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. I have these little slightly red bumps in big patches on my forearms, spreading a bit onto my upper arms, and there are a few isolated spots on my legs. They're very tiny little bumps, almost like pimples, and they only itch a tiny bit (mostly they don't itch). Because they're only a little red, they're hard to see unless you look at my arms in the light or feel them. I went to the dermatologist and saw a resident there (I love my main doc) and it was a complete waste of time. She called it "itchy red rash syndrome," even though I kept insisting it wasn't itchy and it was barely red! She didn't even seem to care what it was caused by, but just prescribed me a steroid cream. Ugh! She thought they looked like bites, but again, they don't itch, and why would they only be on my arms??
Any thoughts? Anyone had something similar? Do Rocky Mountain spots look anything like this?
