Question on time line of symptoms

I am still working on finding an LLMD.  I pulled ticks off just over three months ago.  I had a blood test done a little over a week ago and the blood work came back positive for Lyme (titer) .The MD who tested me put me on doxy 200mg a day for 28 days.    

Does anybody know if the neurological symptoms can start within 3 months of being bitten by a tick with Lyme?   And would these be considered neurological symptoms numb feet, burning tingling type pains, constant headaches, blurry vision twitching eyes?  I have done a lot of reading and I am a bit confused about the time lines and symptoms and just wanted to know if anyone knows or has experience with symptoms starting within months of the bite.

There are over 30 strains of bartonella and the labs only test for 2-3 so even if you come up negative, that is no guarantee that you do not have it. You should see an LLMD that knows the symptoms of all the co-infections.
The tick that bit me latched on by the side of my neck near my spine. I had neurological symptoms very quickly. I read that when you are bitten near the head (and I would guess the spine also) then it is more likely you will get neurological lyme rather than arthritic symptoms. The recommended dose of doxy is 300-600mg a day for at least two months if you catch it very early. The symptoms flare about every 28 days so you can feel completely well and then get sick again. . . and again. The symptoms can also vary as the bacteria migrate to different parts of your body. So you want to be very careful and not quit abx too early. THe most common cause of treatment failure is too low a dose of antibiotic or taking it for too short of a time. It is recommended that you take abx for two months past the point of having no symptoms. Most doctors have no experience treating it correctly.
