SSDI Physical Exam by their doctor

I am trying to get Social Security Disability since I haven't worked in two years because of Lyme issues.  I started the process in May 09.  I am going through a law firm that specializes in SSDI cases.  In August I had a mental exam by a state appointed psychiatrist. Tomorrow I am seeing a MD appointed by the state.

Anyone else have this physical exam by a state appointed MD?   What should I expect?

I am not sure. My lawyer said it was not unusual for them to schedule physical exam. He said they have a form from the state that they fill out.

They sent me to there doctor to do an exam.... he apparently wrote that I was able to do sedentary work....  The judge disagreed with him and agreed with what my docs had to say...which basically said i could not do any type of employement...  They will ask you questions like how long to sit, stand, what can you lift etc, etc...  Just make sure they have your docs med records and what their opinion is
