I know there was a post about this a while back and I am sorry to repeat if I am:) My Furnace does not work yet this year and it is freakin cold in here, so my hands and fingers aren't working well and I don't wanna look for it!lol.

Ok, so my question is: did any of you get the vaccine or are you going to? My Dad wants me to get it since I have Lyme's and from what I read from all of you I think it is probably a good idea, but how and where do you go about getting one? From what I have heard it is nearly impossible, so I was wondering if any of you knew how to get one?

And, just checking in with everyone. I haven't been on here all week. I slept most of the week to be perfectly honest:) I got baptized today and am super excited about that! I still need to stain my deck, but it is just too cold. I got like 5 of the railings done today...haha. It is gonna take forever. Still anxious for my LLMD appointment. It is..oh wow..only 9 days away! Yay! Hopefully I can finally start treatment!

Really? I'm new to this site and haven't read anything about the flu or H1N1 vaccines. My doctor recommended against them. I will be interested to see what people say about this.

I was wondering where you were. Congratulations on getting baptized! That's awesome!

We did discuss the swine flu vaccine and most of us thought that it was too new to risk taking it. I do however get the regular flu vaccine every year.

I think Traveler just bumped up a post from Deejavu about the not so good things regarding the swine flu vaccine.

I just bumped up a post that you should find interesting. I know there was another thread as well about the swine flu.

I'm not sure I would continue to go to a doc that told me I "had to" get a swine flu vaccine - but I don't have small children in the house (actually, they are all out of the house!) & I haven't been able to work for over 20 yrs now, & hubby was disabled just last Dec.

All that, to say - the risk of my being exposed to swine flu is quite low. Everyone needs to make their own INFORMED decision on this, of course.

Thanks everyone! I couldn't remember what was said about it. I know I read that whole post too, but, well, you know how the memory works with this disease! I will read the bumped post. Thanks!
