Help! what is this?

my eyes just seemed to move of their own accord- the room seemed to move and right now i have that bloated head feeling- this happened day before yesterday too.  How long can someone go "untreated" and be okay? I mean most people don't discover they have lyme for a while right? I am really freaked out- is the eye moving/room moving thing the first sign of a seizure? my neck hurts and my ears feel stuffy. Help!

Thank you Rose for your response! I hope my anxiety wont be too overwhelming for everyone here. I guess I feel alone in this house- even though i have my babies-but i feel so depended on and yet my body is going through so much. I thought it would be easier to stay positive but maybe a little help with it. :) I have an appt and even considering second doctor- who actually does after hour calls, but will have to find out if he takes my insurance. You are such a strong person! Thank you for the advice.

I don't find your anxiety overwhelming at all. I want to help because I remember how freaked out I felt before I was finally diagnosed. Even though I was unhappy to find out I had Lyme (because by then I'd read enough to know what that means), it was still better than being sick with lots of weird symptoms and not knowing why. At least now I can do something about it. One other thing - I've been sick for years and have been diagnosed with lots of things and always I didn't completely accept the diagnosis because each one left out so many of my symptoms. I am at peace with this diagnosis because it is the only one that explains all of my health issues. What I'm saying is that I think most of us have a certain amount of awareness, at some level, of what is going on with our bodies. You're here because you suspect this is your diagnosis. I will be happy for you when you are able to confirm, or write off Lyme and/or coinfections as the source of your symptoms because then you can shift your focus to getting better.

Yeah, I do!! sometimes they are even noticable to others. I know it looks really weird - having your eye lids jumping all around your face - but it's not like I like it!!!

Although I do get a snicker out of watching other peoples eyes bulge out when my eye lids start in the middle of a conversation!!! (insert evil laughter here!!)

You make a very valid point about having some ex-Lymies around, the only thing is that by the time most get back to some real health,

they just want to get on with their lives -- & I can certainly understand that!!! Heck, I can't promise I will stick around all that long - IF I ever reach that stage.

Although there are a lot of old timers still hanging around - the ones who have lived with this disease for a very long time.

And they most likely have some of the best info anyway, as they have been at this for such a long time & are still reading practically everything that comes out on Lyme & tx's.
