Does anyone have periods where certain symptoms go away or are not present- I haven't had any tingling for the last few days and i've never really had fevers like some people describe.  Is there anyone that doesn't have fevers or whose body temp stays closer to normal? My blood pressure is always low but my body temp can be around 97.7 and sometimes normal 98. I am going to check again tomarrow morning to see what i get.  i get rib and back pain along with a burning skin sensation throughout my body and crawly head feelings.  Oddest thing is the lack of fevers.... is this possible with lyme??

Hi finding,

Fevers are usually caused by co-infections. It is possible to have Lyme with no fevers.

Also, when I first started getting sick, I had no fever. I didn't start running fever until I started treatment. Of course, that's just my experience but now I run fevers every month with or without treatment.

Lyme and co-infections are different for everyone --- symptoms can be any combo at any time. Most people begin with symptoms that come and go, It often depends where the inflation settles. Any combo can build the lyme cake.

Thanks guys- CatDuck i liked that last part "lyme cake." Actually made me think of eating some! lol. Haven't had simple sugar in ages!
hmmmm cajungrl, wonder if maybe i don't have co infections? that seems impossible though as most people seem to. I was thinking babesia b/c of my rib pain someone mentioned babesia can cause that.

Just out of curiosity has anyone actually gone without ANY simple sugars?? so far i've been able to manage by only taking a nibble of something tempting. Is fruit bad too though? For some reason i thought fruit would be okay.

Were you ever tested for co-infections? I'm sorry if you told me already but I don't remember.

I think it's very possible for Lyme disease to cause any array of symptoms. Still get tested for co-infections though just to be on the safe side.

Regarding the simple sugars.. Are you having problems with yeast at the moment? Getting off of simple sugars is usually for people with yeast problems. I'm sure fruits would be fine to eat if you don't currently have yeast.

sorry i never answered back on this! I was out for a few days. Anyway, i guess i better watch my sugar b/c i tend to develop yeast pretty easily. DARN. lol. anyway, i will probably test for co infections next paycheck, all this testing gets pretty expensive for a family of four. So far i've done a thyroid panel and cd57 i'm going back for my actual lyme western blot this coming week.   Thanks for the response and sorry i didn't get to this sooner.

I too have the tingling in hands, feet, legs, arms, hands and head. Not always and not all at the same time.

I have Lyme and Babesia and have rib and back pain. More rib pain than back.
My legs always hurt deep in my muscles.

I rarely have a fever, and blood pressure is usually normal to a lil on the high side.

The burning and skin sensations I have too.

I also deal with many other symptoms that come and go on a daily, hourly, to every minute. Constantly changing
and never know what set of symptoms I will have next or which ones will show up in morning and replaced by
other symptoms through out the day....

Its a crazy disease and its can be different for some and will find others go through the same.

Hang in there it does get better!!

harleyrider, thanks for your message wink   how long have you been having the burning sensations? I'm getting little twinges of a burning feeling in random places daily.  I know one person told me they've had burning for quite a while i'm just wondering if this is the same sensation since it seems to migrate everywhere. There is another post about this on the forum. My neck hurts pretty bad today...gee this does change all the time! LOL.  anyway thanks and wish i could be riding a harley right now! smilewinkgrin
