I never had this symptom. This is new and mostly on my right leg. Can a new symptom appear after a year of meds? I am on 3 meds now which is new for me. The pain is kind of sharp at times,
Much like the stabbing pain I get in my ankles. Any thoughts? I did test negative for bart but who knows.

It probably is bartonella. I tested negative also. The labs test for two strains and there are over 30 strains. The sooner you address it the better. Get a copy of Schaller's book so you can look at photo's of the skin conditions associated with it to see if you have any other indications of bart. Know all of your symptoms and point them out t your LLMD> Let him make the diagnosis but be armed with information he cannot question.

Hi lovelabs,
I have had horrible shin pain for over a year now- and I'm 98% certain it's from Bart. Although it started before I started treatment, it didn't start until a year after I first got sick.

nicky,
I just get nervous with all of these random pains. It is not constant but on and off through the day. So far on the right leg. I always worry it may be a clot or something. My mind races and I get overly anxious about
things. Kind of panicky thinking every little pain is something really bad. I'm not happy you are suffering with the shin stuff, too but glad I know tlhat someone else had a new symptom after a year. Right now my heels are killing. The madness never ends.
I will be seeing a lot of family from out if town this week. Dreading when they ask about
the Lyme thing. Sick of trying to explain it. After awhile it makes no sense to me either.

Lovelabs: You and I have similar symptoms I have noticed. I also have the shin pain and it can be severe at times. At the clinic I detoxed at, they told me that shin pain is a symptom of toxicity. So, it can be from Lyme or other toxins as well. D

It's good to read this. I haven't had stabbing shin pain, but I have had shin pain where it feels like my skin is burning. Sounds like more detoxing couldn't hurt.
