How do you all feel? Did yall make it through the day okay?

I made it out the house four days in a row!!! Besides coughing my head off, I felt pretty good.

CG - Fantastic to hear you are getting out and doing things! Lyme gave me a vacation on Christmas Eve - I actually felt normal for a day. It's all back now, but nice to know I still can feel okay.

I have one more day to go. Tomorrow we go to my daddy's(that passed away) wifes house. I'm already dreading it because it will be hard on me.

Today was a tired day. I guess I'm recovering from the four days, lol.

So glad you were able to be out and about. Cold here in Florida, well Christmas Day was warm but then the COLD moved in...Brrr.

Spent a nice day with the grandbabies (at 45 you SHOULD NOT) have 2 grandbabies, but I do :)

Got a new puppy...ugghh forgot what housebreaking was ALL about. She is 10 weeks and only weighs 1.5 lbs...so we have to watch where we step.

Went to a local classic car cruise in last night and froze my behind off.

Now I am bumming that tomorrow is Monday and WORK.

My Christmas was very sad because of the passing of my baby brother.  One year ago I was eating Xmas Dinner with him and my family.   Oh well, I guess this will take time.. 

CG, I understand how you feel, let us know how it goes at your daddy's wife's house.  I would be dreading it too.

1bitten2xshy, I didn't know Florida could be cold!  My boyfriend wants me to move to Florida and I'm not sure about this..  I never liked the heat but he loves it there!  I was planning on moving to Vermont and he doesn't want to move there, too cold for him...

Anyway, congratulations on the new puppy!  1.5 pounds?  How cute!  Oh I remember housebreaking, LOL!  Newspapers all over the floor, saying "no, not there, on the paper!" Or getting the puppy outside just in time, chewing up my couches, my eyeglasses, teething, yet I love dogs with a passion!

Hi everyone, happy holidays :-)

Hugs to those who are not having an easy go right now

My xmas was bad/good. I had a horrible stomach virus and spent 2 days getting to know my toilet on a very intimate level ;-)
The positive side, I lost some weight to fit into a great pair of jeans I have and the virus gave me a quick detox.

Xmas day I spent with my wonderful family and boyfriend. Then actually attempted to do some shopping on boxing days (the canadian version of black friday).

Now will spend my next 8 days off working out, sleeping, shopping, reading and watching movies.

Hope everyone has a wonderful week and a happy new year. May the new year bring you all lots of health and love

I rolled right from herxing on my new medication on to a cold then to the work of getting ready for a big family holiday next got the flu and cooked all day meanwhile having the usual work of keeping our little farm going. I made it! ! Now everything will seem so much easier. It was such a wonderful holiday -- warm, loving and full of laughter. Hope yours was, too.

I grew up in NH, so know VT pretty good! BRRRR

My husband does not like the heat either, so he decided to build our home here in north Fla. We get like 3 seasons here and the winter can be very cold. We have had pipes freeze here!

I would have liked further south in Florida!

Come visit us.....it is not "typical" Florida here!

Wow, you grew up in NH, beautiful state!  I have been to Bennington several times and I think it's so quaint but yes, very cold!! 

That's so nice that your husband build your home, what a great guy!  My boyfriend loves Crystal Beach which is way way south..  I guess the ideal situation would to buy a tiny house in Bennington or near there and have a place in Florida..   This way when it gets too hot in the summer, we could go to VT.    How that will work out I don't know just yet..  

I had no idea that No. Fl gets 3 seasons, that's news to me!   And thanks for the offer, I may drive one of your speed cars, LOL!

Christmas Eve was nice...we were visiting my in-laws and they open gifts on Christmas Eve. Christmas Day, Lyme was having its way with me, so not so good a day....I was reacting badly to the smells of the cooking food (stuff I can't eat because of allergies/sensitivities) and generally feeling horrible. Sleep didn't happen too well the 6 days we were there, either - I'd just started oxygen at night and missed it terribly while away because the oxygen really helps me get quality sleep. I'm really glad to be home again.

Looking forward to a quieter New Years with just Hubby and I.

Hi everyone! I'm happy for those of you who had a good Christmas! And for those of you who didn't, hopefully next year will be better.

My Christmas was ok. My family is very active, and I was trying to get out cross-country skiing and snow-showing with them. The first couple of days I managed to do it for a couple of hours, then I'd go home and sleep and be exhausted for the rest of the day (good thing I had a holiday!), but I pretty quickly started to be in too much pain to do much, and since it was getting worse, I mostly quit. I'm not upset about it though- by trying to cross-country ski I was really asking for it! In October I could hardly walk up a flight of stairs! Anyway, I felt kind of crappy on Christmas, but since I had it with my grandparents, they didn't have much more energy than I did! But my holidays as a whole were really nice, because I got to sleep and relax. I'd been pushing myself really, really hard to get through school, so I was completely exhausted.

I had a wonderful New Years too- mostly because it was very low key. And I'm back in internet-land now (I had very little internet access for the last 3 weeks), so I'll be "seeing" more of you guys!

It's nice to hear from you. Wow! You actually got to go snow skiing?!?! That's awesome! I'm glad you had a good time. And LOL @ your grandparents having less energy than you.
