Has anybody heard of the Lyme test called Melisa? They say it is very accurate. My LLMD has not heard of it but he was going to check into it.

I've never heard of this test. It looks like it's new in testing for Lyme. Very interesting. I will research it further. Thanks.

Thanks for the info/link. I had not heard of this test. I will add the link to my "library".
Best wishes, bablymers mom

It says on their web site that most insurances will cover the cost. Has anyone had anything to do with this company? I wonder how accurate these tests are.

Carly,
I go back to see my LLMD on the 18th of next month and will ask him about
this test. I'd like to get it done.

This place has a lab in wisconsin, i emailed them and got the response that they do Melisa testing, but NOT for Lyme. She was unsure if there were any other labs in the US using Melisa for lyme testing.

Thanks for sharing! I'm going to talk to my doctor about
having the test done. I have Lyme and Babesia in my spinal fluid, so I'm wondering if it will show on this test. I only tested a few bands on the WB and was "negative".
