lyme disease is taking over my body

thanks everyone so i went to the doctor today and he says that he will not give me any pain meds due to the sweeling in my brain and i asked him about bartonella and i even printed off the symptoms as well as babesia and he said to me " you should not question me i am the doctor and i know what i am doing he says i am well and i am over exagerrating about all this! he doesnt know anything apparently i am so confused now i dont know what to do there are no llmd in nc and no other doctor around will even treat me at all for lyme because they dont know what to do im so scared my heart is continuosly racing then in drops off and beats very slow im on a heart monitor 24 hours a day they made me wear it at home and im constanly sick im not on any kind of treatment anymore he says all i needed was 2 weeks which i had 4 years ago and am still battling from this and i had another 2 week treatment 2 weeks ago  my words are constanly slurred now my night sweats are worse and my doctor just does not want to help does anyone know of any llmd remotly close to nc i am a single mom of a 2 year old and still work money is very tight and i dont know if i have the strength to travel very far anymore i need help or i feel that i jus wont be able do anything anymore  my doctor is just letting me suffer now what can i do???

georgiagirl and gwb my email is [email protected] and ive been trying to get away from the doctor but i dont have any other choice i live in such a small town no body else will even remotly try to treat me

nickyd im not sure i have google llmds near by and the only one i cand find is in atlanta ga and im not sure if my insurance wil let me go and where i live lyme is prety much not heard of so im not sure what to do the infectious disease doctor near by wont treat me so im at a loss and dont know what to do

I know its a tough situation but don't let yourself feel negative about it. This is precisely the time you have to pull yourself and fight before things go south. Figure out a way, this is the best thing you'll yet to do yourself is find an llmd.

List down all your problems / challenges right now and then start working at them in order of priority and if i were you, visiting one good llmd is the first step. If you have a car, drive. If you don't ask friends to drive, if you don't have friend use public transportation etc. Lyme is only gonna take over if you dont fight it. Heck most of us are not even sure if we'll ever get cured but we are all fighting.
