Need New Lymes Literate Doctor

 My Doctor who is 8 hours away is going to stop treating me unless we move closer to her office. With my husband job there is no way we can move. Does any one know of a DR in Texas that knows lymes and it's co infections. Also my pain levels are nearly at 8-9 every day and have a appointment with pain management Dr today. Has any one had any luck with pain management therapy

Just the same one I told you before, Dr. W in Texas. I don't think there are other LLMD's in Texas. Do you know of any CajunGrl?

I sent you a long email on March 5. Do you think it might have gone into your junk folder? I still have it on my sent mail. Would you like me to resend it? Sorry you didn't get it yet as I wrote you a lot of information. Let me know if it's in your junk mail or if I should resend it to you.

Thanks JB, we live only about 20 minutes from Denton. I went to pain management and said he couldn't help me get rid of the pain but added a new pain med and a spasm med for my legs. With all the autoimmune diseases I might be beyond his scope, but it is a short drive and I have nothing to lose by seeing him, I have lived with Lymes for 10 years and know most treatment or have had them.

Glad you found the email I sent you! Feel free to write to me anytime. Both my wife and I have had this disease and we'll be glad to help you in any way that we can. Her name here on Healing Well forum is daisyrlb. Feel free to ask her questions if you'd like too as she did get better on Dr. W abx protocol.

Sadly, she's relapsed again recently, but not too bad. Now she's getting the same treatments I am from Dr. Jernigan in Wichita, KS at the Hansa Center.

Dr. W will prescribe pain medications to you, Xanax if you need it, and he's a big believer in antidepressants because he believes that this disease causes a lot of people to get depressed. When you're depressed it's hard to get better.

Anyway, like I said, the Healing Well forum is a great place to get your questions answered and get support from other lymies. We are here for you and for one another!

Keep us posted and let me know what you think of Dr. W if you decide to see him.
