MY labs..someone please tell me what they think...should i be on antiobitics

high cortisol....27.8
lyme disease ab, quant, IgM 109 High
IgG 41 ab..WB present..abnormal
IgM 23 ab..WB present..abnormal
WA1 IgG antibody, IFA 1:256 High
Abs .CD8- CD 57+Lymphs 38 low
Vit D 23.1 low

please let me know if anyone thinks i should be on high doses or any antiboitcs..does this even mean i have lyme and babesia active infections or just antibodies.....please help...havent slept good in days..so sick...also went thru withdrawal from ativan..could that be it instead...

A high IgM titer represents active Lyme. Band 23 is specific to Lyme, which strongly suggests Lyme. CD57 is low, therefore suggestive also of Lyme. WA1 is high, also, meaning I think Babesia...

Low Vitamin D suggests you should be supplementing Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol).

Strongly recommend you show these results to a Lyme-Literate Physician or Naturopath...they can help you understand the significance of these results and recommend treatment options.

Doc has changed antiboitc to cephalosprin...500 mg..2 ..2 x day...will that work for lyme and babesia.....

Usually, either mepron or malarone are given to treat Babesia.

Hi

I noticed that your cortisol is high...was this an AM plasma cortisol?

You have to be careful because you can have a normal or high AM plasma cortisol level and then it can be low noon and PM.  You might want to ask for a 24 hour saliva or urine cortisol test.  this will give you a better picture of what your levels are all day.  If the cortisol level is high all day then you want to think about tumors that affect adrenals. 

Also have you had your ACTH tested?
