doc is giving me a 3rd antiboitcs told me to quit doxy and start cefalosporins..im scared all antiboitcs are making me worse...but dont know anything about herbs and have to be careful of anything that revs up my nervous system after coming off the ativan...please help..

Most do get worse during treatment. Really stinks.

There are several on this board that have gone the "natural" route. One in remission and one has gone from near death...to so much better!

Have you been tested for Candida? If you have yeast issues (yes it also causes anxiety) the abx can make the yeast worse. Candida can cause a huge list of symptoms. Just an thought. D

Natural methods are no safer than abx...it all depends on what's going on in your body which method will work better. I tried Buhner's herbal protocol for Lyme, and wound up in the hospital for 10 days unable to eat/drink/swallow anything. Still struggling with difficulty swallowing, still cannot swallow liquids 1 1/2 years later. So if you do try alternative/natural route, be sure to be under the treatment of someone with experience treating Lyme with the herbs/etc.
