I just came to visit my daughter and her family. I no sooner walked in, went over to my 2 year old granddaughter to say hi and spied a deer tick on the back of her neck! It was attached, I pulled it off. Her mom said it could not have been on more than one hour, they had just come in from playing outside. The tick was not engorged.
I know we can send it to Clongen for testing and that's what I am recommending to my daughter. Has anyone gone this route and is this what you would do?
Thanks!
P.S. Do you ever feel like we're in some sort of horror movie where you walk out your door and these creatures attack? She was just in her yard, for goodness sakes!
