specific examples of pre existing conditions

does anyone know a list of health conditions that disqualify one from insurance? If so I could get ins this year due to obamas health care plan. I have checked on private ins co did not like it that i have mvp and he suggested I look elsewhere.. Even tho my family dr calls it fibromylagia, (i still have faint rashes whatever ) (I didn't show her anyway) i am wondering if ins cos dont sell to people with fibro then i could get ins through new plan. any sugestions? thanks

My guess is that each insurance co has their own specific definition of "pre-existing condition" but the general idea is any disease you have been diagnosed with by a qualified medical doctor (MD, DO or ND) within a certain time frame which has not been "cured" would be considered pre-existing. So examples would be things like Asthma, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Osteoarthritis, Lupus, etc. - basically anything that would be considered "chronic" because regular medicine does not know how to "cure" these conditions.
