Has anyone heard of Post Lyme Syndrome.

My neuro said that is why I still have symptoms.  He said after the infection is cleared some people will still have symptoms for a period of time...I asked how long...he said it could last for months to years. 

Has anyone experienced this post lyme syndrome.  After antibiotic treatment was still having symptoms and after time got better...symptoms went away.

I don't want to shrug off my symptoms with hopes they will go away and two years later I'm still sick or sicker.

:-)  Thanks for the reply...I really think that Lyme is confusing.  I feel terrible everytime someone new is diagnosed.

Regardless of being post lyme syndrome, I will getting an IV inserted on Tuesday, and I will be getting a month of antibiotics.  I feel nervous about the IV, although I have been told it is not that bad. 

I just feel so stressed...I can not seem to find the peace I need in my life.  Between battling this disease and work stress, I can't seem to see the light at the end of the tunnel.  I just feel so depressed lately, and I can not shake it.
