Or a link on the "New to lyme" sticky. We should have links to all the posts by members who feel they have recovered or are almost recovered. Posts like the one Sulma, HeathersDad and GWB created.

It seems like a lot of people feel that this forum has been a bit negative lately. I think this would give a lot of hope and encouragement to new and old members alike.

Not sure if that is possible, but it would be nice. Their stories seem to get lost.

lylaso, I like that idea, too. Not just here, but pretty much everywhere I go for Lyme information, it's pretty discouraging because most people are still sick. I hear doctors claim 70-80% cure rates, but I don't seem to run into those cured people. Good idea!

I guess I have a question about the "negative" thing.....since I may be one of those who was "negative" today!

Are we (those of us who are still sick) being "negative" when we post about NOT doing well or vent when we need to? I thought that this was part of what this forum was for!!

If so, well, EXCUUUUUUUSE me for being sick! But I do come here to offer support and comfort to people who aren't feeling well as well as to vent (like I did today because my brain is disintegrating and it scares me)!

Maybe you were referring to something else when you say the forum is being "negative"; if so, well, I'm sorry for this post. But I would like to know if we are still allowed to be sick here? Or do you only want to hear from people who are actually getting well for a while??

I think she was referring to the post that Motox started. You are more than welcome to complain, vent, reach out, whatever you need to do to feel better. This forum IS about support. I hope I cleared that up for you.

I definitely was not referring to your post. That is what this forum is for: support when you have troubles. I don't feel that the forum has been negative, but I've seen that written by other members in various posts.

Add my DD in the "cured" club! She has been symptom free for about 8 months and has been off abx and herbals for about 4. She is almost 12 (congenital Lyme/Bart) and is little Miss Social Butterfly. She hangs outwith her freinds, is back in gymnastics, "graduated" 6th grade, winning several academic awards, including the Presidential Award (3.5 GPA from 4th Grade through 6th). She is happy, active, intelligent and becoming a typical teen. I tell her she is my hero!

Thanks CajunGrl and lylaso.....I guess my brain is really becoming "Lymified". I misunderstand and get offended very easily at stuff that probably shouldn't offend me at all.

It seems we are in the same boat yet again!!!
I was thinking my post was offending someone - & I really try not to do that. It never leads to anything good.

Still looking for that island!!!
