Hi everyone---I started treatment today with IV H2O2. I am relatively new to my doctors office and did not even know they were treating Lyme disease! I think they keep it "under wraps" due to the CDC being down the road. :) Come to find out, they have been treating Lyme disease for years and the doc that does the IV therapy has had great success with this therapy. The nutritionist in the office also has Lyme (for 20+ years) and she was literally "brought back" using H2O2 therapy. I spoke with her for quite a while today and she said she could not walk for two years, but the therapy gave her her life back.

I'm going to continue with the Doxy for a few more weeks, along with doing the detox baths, foot baths and other detox things, plus look into getting some of Dr. J's items from his website.

I wish I could go out to Witchita and do the treatment they offer. does anyone that has been have a ball park figure as to what the cost for two weeks is? I know they don't use the treatment options I've opted to use, but at this point I don't have any choice.

Hi Hopeful. Good luck with your new treatment. I need to do some research because I don't know anything about IV H202 treatments. How often do you get this done? Is it administered via a port, or do you get an IV needle each time? I hope it works for you!

so it is not ozone? what is it? oxygen? is it liquid? is it saline with h202 air blown into it? i used to have a machne that converted H202 to 03 ( ozone) .and intraveniousy shot the 03 air inti vein ..later I found out that this is not way to do it and by putting saline solution in bag and then blowing in the converted 02 (03 ozone ) then IV.

It is actually food grade H2O2 I believe. It is administered by IV, in a half cc dose mixed in an IV solution. Then each time it is increased until they reach the max dose of 3ccs. The treatment is usually done once a week, but I am supposed to have it twice a week for the first couple of weeks to get me going. I didn't seem to have any herx from the first round, which is actually good. There is no port involved, but I almost wish there was, cuz I have such terrible veins. It took 2 1/2 hours to get a little bag in me. Hoping Monday's treatment will go faster.
My feet actually seem a little bit better. Hands are still painful---left knee is pretty much the same.
Will let you know how Monday's treatment goes.
I continue to do the detox baths and foot baths and so far it is keeping the herxing to a minimum.

Each treatment is $125 and insurance does not cover it of course. My doctor doesn't take insurance anyway, so everything comes out of pocket. Unfortunately, a lot of the good docs are going to this. It's cheaper for them I think and it keeps them out of the "government loop" a bit more.

Hopeful - I look forward to hearing how it goes on Monday. So it sounds as if this accomplishes pretty much what the oxygen chamber does. Does that sound right? The good news, if you want to call it good, is that, based on prices in my area, your treatments are about half the cost of an oxygen chamber treatment. This is all so expensive!

I bought a product from a company called Oxylife. It is H2O2 (stabalized oxygen food grade hydrogen peroxide), Colloidal silver and Aloe. I took 1 tablespoon with a 16oz glass of water on friday, saturday and sunday and I've felt like hell alll week. I wasn't feeling great before I took this stuff anyway. I had terrible fatigue. Now I feel like I have an awful hangover. I think it just may be a bad herx.

Hi, I am from atlanta but now live in virginia. Are you referring to progressive medical center?If so they are the ones to give me a diagnosis for lyme. That was their treatment plan for me and I was curious how you were handling it. I opted not to do that treatment but have found no success with oral antibiotics 13 months later. I am leaning very heavily on Dr. Jernigan's protocol for home or going to the center. Keep us posted!
