For a long time I have been trying to find out the ingredients in most antibiotics, not easy to find..

Hi Denise,

I came across this youtube link where Dr. Thomas Rau, MD, who has training in Biological Medicine, states that Rocephin has thermisol in it...the mercury containing ingredient that was banned just recently from various vaccines (only it is still in them) and consider that a vaccine is a one time dose taken spaced out...Rocephin is taken in huge quantities. Mercury is 1000x more toxic than lead and is one of the primary neurotoxins found in Lyme patients upon Heavy Metal testing...obviously not every Lyme patient has taken Rocephin, but who would want to take mercury daily? www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYZ5FiQ_g18

As you said, finding the ingredients to each antibiotic is difficult, not only that, it would be a very time consuming project no doubt. I did find some interesting links that I think you will find informative. The first one, I know nothing about this MD, but what he says about abx is pretty right on. Other things he says regarding alternatives, some I don't really know about, others I'm not too favorable about, but a lot of what he recommends is right on. One of the things he recommends, that I am leery of, is Colloidal Silver. Never been too keen on that one, but others swear by it. Anyway, check these links out and see if you find them helpful.

Denise, I know this doesn't exactly answer your question about the ingredients in abx, but since you like to research, I thought you'd find a lot of this information on abx interesting. I sure did!

*Disclaimer* For those of you who are on abx, I don't want to leave you with the impression that I am anti-antibotics. I know some of you are getting better taking abx, so it isn't my intent to discredit abx at all. Basically, I'm responding to Denise's question to me, but I think many of you will find this information interesting, whether you take abx or not. There's a lot of good information here and I know we are all here to learn as much as we can about this disease and the various treatment protocols that are out there. Hopefully, some of you will find this information useful.

Yes, Dr. Jernigan did train with Dr. Rau in Biological Medicine. You sure know a lot about Dr. Jernigan. It's amazing the knowledge you have about him.

Glad you are finding the videos helpful. If there's anything worth sharing from listening to the tapes post a few tidbits here so others can get the benefit of what he says if you have a chance.

According to the Mercola site, and other sites that have done studies on abx, the fluoroquinolone antibiotics, of which Cipro is one, are the ones best to avoid.

I still have not had time to listen to all the video's yet (each one is about 20 minutes long) but I will make time because this is fascinating to me..    I'm really multi-tasking like crazy and I'm taking a break right now..

The mercury by itself is amazing.. And what about the foods people eat, chickens, cows, etc.  are all fed antibiotics so no wonder most people are resistant to antibiotics...   It's a different world today, it really is compared to when I was growing up..   But then again, every time I had swollen glands or an ear infection the doctor gave me pencillin like it was candy and by the time I was 19 I became allergic to pencillin, duh! 

And why are the pharma companies so secretive about the ingredients in the antibiotics they produce?  Because we will find things out that will shock us?   Hey, enquiring minds want to know, LOL!

I remember many years ago a dentist prescribed Cipro for me so I wouldn't get any infections, well guess what?  For the first (and so far only time in my life) I got the worst yeast infection!   I could not pee unless I went into the shower and went there!  (Hey, we talked about poop so I guess we can talk about peeing!) 

I went to my gyno and she scared me by telling me it looked like herpes to her which freaked me out but then the test results came back and I didn't have herpes (yeah, I was pissed at that doctor, no pun intended)...  Monostat cured that problem..  

Will update with what I learn from Dr. Rau..   I am still getting use to his accent..

Pee and poop I can handle. Please try to avoid the "vomit" subject. I get nauseated just thinking about it. I'm nauseated now.

Ground ginger root , about 4 grams a day has really made a big difference for my nausea. But if you are concerned about talking ginger root, there are these bands that have a small hard plastic piece in them that help some -for me at least - they go by the name of "Sea Bands". I have seen them in Walmart & our local pharmacy for sale.
