Hi. I would also find out if the doctor or a knowledgeable medical practitioner in the office is available to take phone calls between visits in case you have questions or develop symptoms you want to find out about quickly. Definitely, I'd nail down the financial side of things. And, if you are interested in alternative medicine, find out if that is supported by the physician.
The most important thing to me, though, is how I feel about the doctor and the office once I'd been there. If either is not conducive to creating a partnership with me with regard to my health and treatment, then that is not the right doctor for me. If you have choices in your area, finding a good fit for you isn't always predecated on finding the doctor with the best reputation or the most well-known doctor. It's important to find someone you feel comfortable with and who you trust.
Good luck with your visit.
