Red Rash

I will be on a month of Doxy and I noticed a couple days ago I had a very painful rash looking thing on my left arm. It was burning really bad and red in an oblong oval from my wrist to elbow. I was sitting watching tv with the family when I looked down and it was red and on fire. This doesn't seem to be a typical allergic reaction. It is no where else on my body. Could this be a lyme rash that has came up? I never had one when I was bitten that I can remember. It has been on my arm for about 4-5 days. I also noticed that alot of the muscle twitching and my aching calves was gone for 3 days. I thought it was great till I got up this morning with aching legs and alot of muscle twitching. I was really bummed to have some of the main symptoms go away and now have come back. Any thoughts what this could be?

I go the the dr this coming Friday.

Take a picture of the rash, with something like a coin on your skin right beside the rash (this helps to give a perspective of just how large the rash is). Then you will have documented the rash & can refer to it any time it's necessary.

Is it a bullseye rash?, or just an oval rash? Either way it is not uncommon for a person with Tick-borne infections to develop a rash during treatment.
