Woke up this morning with no pain at all other than a tiny bit of a stiff neck. Huh? Wow? Uh oh? I don't know which reaction is the right one.
Upped Doxy dose the other day and had big herx-- pains galore, du jour-- as described in my other post. Took a detox bath and 2 Aleve....got through the day.
The next day dropped down to 200 mgs for the day. Pains tried to rally but not as bad--- just migrated around like dull aches and a few hatchet stabs in the back and shoulder.
But last night woke up in the middle of the night with my right leg completeley numb from toes to hip. This has NEVER happened to me!-- not ever, ever except maybe when I was a kid and slept all twisted up in the sheets.
In fact, I have to be very careful these days about how I sleep---always on my back so as not to wrench my neck or crunch my shoulders and increase joint pain in elbows.
But somehow my leg just went NUMB. I sleep on a tempur pedic....special head pillow-- the works. So there is NO explanation for the numb leg. And I mean dead numb!
I shook off the numbness-- pricks and tingles-- and went back to sleep. And voila no pain anywhere this morning! Except right arm tennis elbow-- the bane of my existence.
Okay....this whole numb leg thing is probably unrelated, coincidental (slept like a nut job and didn't know it) type of occurance--- along with 'no pain anywhere' when I woke up.
Just wanted to share.... and more than likely my TBD just took a day off due to lower dose of Doxy. I'll up it again to 300 mgs today and see what happens. If nothing....then 400 mgs. I will not let the little bugs get away with this!
Best wishes to all and a VERY GOOD DAY!
