LLMD In Howell NJ

I haven't seen him, but have read positive posts about him on other Lyme forums; one person posted that he might not treat as "aggressively" as he ought to....?

I also I know that he won a 2008 Patient's Choice award.

I went to Dr. S. after suffering horribly for over three years and seeing numerous doctors who dismissed my symptoms. Only upon getting a copy of lyme tests done three years earlier and discovering three significant bands, did a wonderful endocrinologist say she thought it was lyme. I went online and immediately researched and was referred by one of the lyme organizations to Dr. S and a few other LLMDs in NJ. Dr. S was the first apt. available so I took it, 3 weeks away and an hour drive. I went with an entire file full of copies of all the symptoms and tests and he spent 10 MINUTES WITH ME! He mumbled and being nervous and hard of hearing, I couldn't hear him. I had to ask him to repeat everything. He ordered a number of tests and out he went. I couldn't beleive he was done with me. I finally had the answer I was waiting for and wanted someone to explain it to me and he couldn't be bothered. I will say he ordered the co-infections test and told me I did in fact have lyme. he started me immediately on Bactrim and told me I would get worse instead of better. In two weeks, I couldn't get out of bed. I was so sick I thought I was going to die. When I called his office, it took hours for him to get back to me and he was far from sympathic. I hear he is a very good doctor but I need a human being to treat me after being dismissed as crazy or menopausal for so many years. I personally need someone that is going to answer my questions and speak with me, not mumble and write stuff down. Best of luck to you. Just my experience. I never went back.
