i have tried darvicot ( FDA took off market) that cut into my pain,  since i have tried tramadol and neuronotin nothing,  I am not having a "spell' now thank God but going  to doc tomorrow to tell her when i was very bad the pills did not work,  i used  vicadin from broken arm it cut into the pain also.

Its so hard to go and ask for vicadin.  /But next time it flares I will have no ammunation so to speak.  anybody know the best way to start this conversation?  maybe if i write down notes that would be helpful/  Hope everyone is doing well, it is hell to be sick.  Hope your holidays are nice and soothing rather than stressful, we have really changed things around to avoid it.  We'll see : )

Yes, I heard about the lawsuit. I was on both of them a few months ago and actually had weird palpatations. I didn't know at the time that it was the pain med doing that. Thank God I got off. It is causing heart attacks and even death.

I would go in and explain things to your doctor just like you did here. I think once your doctor hears what you have to say, they will be more than happy to prescribe vicodin. If not, tell them to refer you to a pain clinic or find another doctor. Pain is not fun to deal with and your doctor should be there to listen and help in anyway that they can. That's what they get paid for.

I went in and explained. She did not give me vicadin because she maintained that everybody who uses it gets addicted. I politely said surely not everyone, this seemed to make her even crankier. I have gone to her for like 13 years for broken bones sore throat etc.. My lyme Dr took the lyme part. This PA has had my lyme records for months and i nicely asked did you take a look at my records? ( This would show I am not a pill abuser.) She said NO. Anyway she sent in tylenol 3 .
