Hello Ladies...


I was wondering if Lyme Disease can cause irregular bleeding... I had on time period about 3 weeks ago, 1 week after that period, I had another which would be the week before last, now today I'm bleeding heavily again !!! it seems to last for about 4 - 5 days, and my periods are normally 3. I'm wondering if my Lyme has a play in all of this... it's starting to drive me NUTS !!!!!

Lyme Disease can definitely affect your cycles but I would still let your doctor know especially if it just started happening. It could be something more serious. Are you on birth control by any chance? Sometimes birth control like the Depo shot can cause this to happen.

My dr has told me that lyme will interfair with your menstraul cycle, cause in women the lil bugs like to attack women there and cause all reckis. I would go tell your LLMD and go get looked at as soon as you can. I wish you luck ....jennie

I do take birth control but I have been before and after I found out about having Lyme disease and this is all just now starting to happen

Let your Gyno know as soon as you can just to be sure it's not something more serious.

ISAC Panel ...THICK BLOOD..

I had the worst periods and was always bleeding so much I became anemic and held out till I was 50 and finally had uterus removed.

Thus thick blood thing has to be addressed with everyone who has lyme especially if for long time.

google lyme and thick blood and ISAC panel.

I thought it was thru a special Lab but I see my bill came from Lab corp.

Also life becomes a hormonal nightmare because liver is so stressed. castor oil packs over liver and coffee enemas. but not on same day.
