If so what were your results? Just curious.

Do they have a test for this?

It sounded like they do, but I read that it isn't very reliable. So what else is new!

I heard that Burriscano is very much into researching this and the link to chronic fatigue and lyme suffers.
I tried reading about
it and never did come to a TREATMENT and I don't think ther is. I think they are jsut finding this as some kind of link.
It makes me wonder with all the new things they can produce that are so toxic that everything we breath from the sky and the dust and the manufacturing and vehicles why didn't they think of manufacturing some kind of bionic blood for us all to get transfused with. Instead they are actually taking blood donations from anyone with lyme who doesn't know they have it. and then what? transfusing it into someone else.
so this XMRV ( which sounds like a new name for a Firebird or a Camaro) are they testing for that when they take blood transfusions? Is this another $900 to $6000 blood test?
I would love to hear more about
this and how much support is given to recognizing it as something that has got to be dealt with.

Last I heard, doctors who have done research on XMRV were recommending anti-retroviral medication to treat the XMRV...
I also heard that there is a flurry of research trying to determine whether or not XMRV could be transmitted via blood transfusion...this has implications for donors and donees (recipients of blood products).
I also have heard that many do not know what symptoms are specific to XMRV - in other words, is transmission of XMRV really of concern for blood banks/blood transfusion recipients?
