I have had episodes of not being able to get enough air in. Sometimes it's lasted for months. This began at age 28. I went to cardiologist and they asked me if I had stress in my job. Well I did. Just today I thought to myself, "You know it's like I'm too tired to breathe. Also, breathing in I can't get enough air so I just hold my breath. I, also, am afraid to go to sleep sometimes because I have to conciously monitor my breathing and make myself breath. It is not automatic. I do have sleep apnea and one of the health care providers told me, in an offhand way, "You can have apnea in the day time too." That was astonishing. So, I wonder if that is what we all have?
