Hi all and sorry that I've not been around too much lately.
I visited my LLMD today, all is looking good and I could be off abx by April. She has recommended that I have a MEL-4 MELISA blood test done to see if blah blah muffle muffle (pardon pardon) before I come off the abx. As you may have gathered I didn't really understand what she said or what the test was for. As we had more things to talk about I didn't get the chance to ask her what this test was for. Has anyone got ideas of what this test is??? I've googled it and found nothing much. Also she has requested I do another WB for LD..........why would I want to do a WB again? I'm bound to test positive as I tested positive three years ago. Or at least I don't need to prove the presence of LD antibodies again.....do I? And if I do, what good will it do. The costs of these tests is £650.00, money I could well do without spending for no very good reason.
Your thoughts would great.
Mik.
