glutathione

Hi. I am new here. I been reading a lot of posts. My doctor has me on glutathione injections. I have been taking them every week for the last 5 weeks and have not noticed any changes. They cost $150 each and my doctor insists I need them, but I am starting to wonder if they are doing anything. How long will it be before I notice changes? Has anyone had success with glutathione? Thanks.

i am very interested in it also and did feel like it helped in the past. I am looking for the company who will mail it to your house . someone told me once and I lost the name.

$150 is way high.. what else are you getting..like a big vitamin drip?

who is your doctor ?? an LLMD.

It is good for liver support and known to be good for parkinsons also.

everyone is different and who knows how much you are getting. where do you live?

any idea how long you have lyme? is there any other treatment you are getting.?

Welcome to our forum!!! I am sorry to hear that you are a long-time sufferer as well. Unfortunately there are a whole lot of us!

As for the injections, can you call your doc & ask why you are still receiving these, as you don't believe they are helping you feel better? That way you can get his/her opinion directly.

Unfortunately I don't know anything about glutathione injections, but if they are to help support your liver - as Bucci & Zoocrew suggest, then they will help you feel better - but it will take a while.

I am on a different type of treatment (see below), but I am working on getting my liver better supported as well. I have been doing what my doc wants me to and it took about 6 months for me to actually 'feel' improvement.

May I suggest that you use the search function on this site? When I entered glutathione in the search box there were quite a few posts brought up!

Also, I would suggest that you read through the thread at the top of the forum titled, "New to Lyme?...Start here!" as it was put together by our members and is packed full of great info as well as some very informative links!!
