I'm between doctors right now and was wondering if taking a 2 week course of doxycycline would help at all. I can't see my new doctor til july and I am worried about
the lyme getting worse before I am on a steady course of antibiotics. I was basically thinking it couldn't hurt but wanna see what others think before I take any.

Take them my friend...by the time you have finished the LD abx protocol in a year or two these two weeks you have now will fade in to insignificance (?), they may even kick a few spirochetal butts.

I doubt 2 weeks will help you much, so I'd side with Lymester and say you should wait.

Cool beans, thanks alot for the feedback. To say my judgement is off these days would be an understatement. If my brain wasn't so dumb these days I would be on top of this stuff. Like I said my appt is not til first week of July and I worry about
the disease festering and multiplying. I just added detox baths into my treatment in the meantime in addition to all the other supplements. Lyme is expensive, especially is you are high class, white trash like myself.

Deaconfrost,
In my humble opinion I would say that taking two weeks of abx is
just enough
to reach a herx!
