What to do after treatment when nothing seems better

Sorry if this winds up being long.

Last May I was diag'd with lyme. I went to the dr for headaches but I had always few a little off, but I figured it was just me, lyme never crossed my mind. Never had the rash. Had a 2 cases of it going on, one of which was current. It seemed like they only treated the current with doxy and the old case got forgotten about. I got handed off to a neuro for my migraines and a few months later I had to remind them about my lyme, which started the process back up with blood work, followed up a spinal tap (positive for whatever they look for) and I got the PICC line, 1 month of Rocephine treatment. I had some MRIs too which showed a cyst but they don't seem to be concerned with this....

Anyways, here I am, 2 months with my PICC line gone, on no treatment whatsoever and I swear I almost feel worse. I feel delusional/disorientated, nauseous all the time, dizzy, in general pain, fatigue still. I just don't feel good ever. My infectious disease dr says I need to give it time but I am getting really discouraged and depressed about this, which can't be helping. Am I supposed to sit and here and literally wait? Really? I'm 22 years old, I don't know what to do anymore. It seems to only be getting worse with time, not better.

I thought the IV stuff would have helped but it really doesn't seem like it has. I guess I'm just looking for advice if anyone has any. Or suggestions if anyone has been in this position before.
