I was just reading an article on probiotics and came across the following statement:
If profuse sweating occurs after you take an antibiotic, cut back on your pro-biotic, because any large kill off of gut bacteria can cause the release of lipo-poly-sacharide (LPS) a bacterial cell wall toxin which can cause fevers, disorientation, and sweats.
Maybe it's my Lyme brain, but I'm not sure how to interpret that. Why cut back on the probiotics?
