Hi, has anyone used Naltrexone to help Lyme symptoms or have you read any articles that support its use?
Thank you

Hi Getwell --
Welcome to the forum. So glad you've found us. No doubt someone will have an answer to your question. In the meantime I just wanted to point out that we have great info and links available in the topic at the top of the forum titled,
"New To Lyme?......Start Here!"
There is also a very useful search function in the top right hand corner of the page.
Take care!

Yes, Low Dose Naltrexone has anti-inflammatory properties, which is supposed to help reduce some of the symptoms of Lyme/Coinfections and may help with herxing. My Doctor had me on Low Dose Naltrexone but I had to stop taking it when my stomach stopped letting me take the capsules. I hope to be able to get back on it again when my stomach decides to function again...

To read past posts about
those using or wanting to use Naltrexone (there have been quite a few) use the search feature. It's located on the top of the page, on the same blue bar with the 'log out' button, on the right side.
