Just thought I'd list my
symptom progress for those who are also on ABX and are interested in one person's journey to getting well using this method.
Symptoms that have never returned....and are hopefully gone for good:
Headaches
Pin-prick + electrical shock sensations
Vertigo/imbalance/dizzyness
Hot feeling in my brain/head
Sensitivity to sound
Elbow pain
Buzzing in the back of my head
Irritable bowel
Crying jags
Late afternoon exhaustion
Drenching night sweats
Extreme neck/trapezius muscle fatigue (couldn't hold my head up)
Severely impaired memory and thought process
Chills
Restless, crazy feeling in entire body-- couldn't sit still
Limbs going numb
Morning nausea/dry heaves
Quickness to anger/rage
Loss of range of motion in right shoulder
Stupor/staring into space a lot
Neck crunching and cracking
Burning tongue syndrome
Severe pain in upper spine
Stuffed up feeling in ears
Pressure in head
Wide spread, random muscle twitching
Sensation of popcorn popping under my skin
Feeling that something is crawling on me
Shortness of breath-- the scary kind
Symptoms that can be completely gone for weeks at a time but then come back for a few days and go away again:
Shooting pains in teeth
Migrating pain in left ankle
Sharp pain under right knee cap
Symptoms that decrease greatly, or are gone completely but only for a few days at a time.
Random muscle pain (dull ache or stabbing)-- especially in arms and shoulders.
Muscle knots in upper back
Stiff neck-- which is now switching sides at random
Ear ringing
Lower back pain
Stiffness after sitting still for a while
Tingling in palms of hands
Symptoms that never go away:
Intolerance to heat (over 70 degrees) only when indoors or driving in a car. Constantly have to have a fan blowing on me or I'll break out in a sweat.
Loss of upper body strength-- can't seem to get that back.
New symptoms (past two weeks) that each lasted a few days and then disappeared.
Shooting pain in right shin
Ache in both knees
Stiffness in both hands-- in the middle of the night only. Woke me up!
Wrist cracking
Symptom that is currently the most debilitating, nagging, relentless and overall AWFUL !! :
Shoulder muscle pain in the deltoids and scapula-- a deep, pounding, stabbing ache that can switch from left to right shoulder at random, or can be felt in both at the same time.
_______________________________________________________
Aside from the wonderful, 100% pain free, normal days I DO have, the only other time I feel great is when I am playing tennis.
This demanding exercise-- even if I'm hurting at the start-- causes the pain to go completely away. Must be the adrenaline.
If there were such a thing as adrenaline pills....I would take them every day!
Well that's it! For now. But as you can see, I've come a long, long way. Don't despair!
