Hello Mondeo!
Welcome to the forum. You've found a great place here with a lot of knowledgeable, supportive people. Have a look at the "New to Lyme?" thread at the top of the forum. It has symptom lists that you might find familiar as well as a lot of other info about Lyme and its coinfections.
It certainly does sound like Lyme from here, but we can't diagnose you, of course!! It is very possible that you were not treated properly. The common wisdom is that you should be treated for two months beyond the cessation of symptoms.
As you know already it is hard to get treated for something this difficult to pin down. If you are tested for Lyme, the odds are that you will not test positive. By this time the bacteria will have suppressed your immune system and you won't be producing the antibodies that the test is designed to detect. It's worth a try however.
You will find it difficult to find a Lyme Literate Doctor in the UK. But they do exist. Try starting a new thread entitled "Looking for an LLMD in the UK". We have several members who are currently getting treatment there. Also go to http://canlyme.org they have a world wide support resource. And http://ilads.org should be of help.
Keep us posted on what you do next and let us know if you have any more questions!
