Purple dotted rash?

Does anyone have purple dots like a rash around the joints that are painful? I have a lot around my "bad" knee and quite a few around the 2nd worst joint which is my other knee. The rash itself isn't painful although sometimes I feel a lot of throbbing in the area.

I didn't bring it up with the doctor last week because I was more worried about some of my more bothersome symptoms. I might take a picture of it though if it could be significant. This is something that happened after I went off my 28 days of antibiotics in November.

Definitely get a good picture! Be sure to include something(like a dime or the tip of a pen/pencil) so that the doc can get an idea of how large of an area is affected and the size of the 'dots' within the rash.

Without having the education, I would venture a guess that it could be a Bartonella rash, especially when considered with the painful/throbbing joints. Have you been evaluated for a Bart infection?
