Hey I used to be on here regularly, four years ago. It has been quite a journey, but wanted you all to know that I am better. I have been off all antibiotics since the end of July and I have no symptoms, other than gradual brain improvement. If I had any advice it is to see a practitioner that improves your symptoms but once you stop responding, find another, and keep believing, even in the darkest, (suicidal, and yes I had many days like that), days. If oral antibiotics/herbs or homeopathy or whatever aren't working get on to another plan- for me that was pulsed intravenous antibiotics to cover all co-infections simultaneously. Follow your intuition, and get off when you feel that it is time- and you will know because you want to puke when you look at the vial/bottle or bag. You must continually detox- liver, kidneys and bowel throughout.
Hope I don't sound preachy, but I am better.

If you dont mind me asking what antibiotics finally helped you? What other treatments worked for you?

Katy, if you read the bottom of Pcpc's post - there's a 'signature' line where Pcpc has listed a lot of what s/he followed.

Hi PCPC,
Just curious to know ... was there a reason why you didn't go back to using the Cowden support program when you were re-bitten in 2007? I'm considering trying the program out and am trying to do as much research as I can. Thanks for your help!

Hi pwhite,
You've found a pretty old thread here; we haven't seen pcpc for a while. You could start a new thread with your questions about
the Cowden protocol.

Tala3, Pcpc stated that for him/her that the treatment that worked for them was pulsed intravenous antibiotics to cover all co-infections simultaneously.
She/he had previously done the Cowden protocol until biten by another tick.

I believe you said you were on Zhang's protocol at one point? I've been on it 4 months with mixed results. Would love to email you about
your experience!

Welcome wassoreal!
Glad you decided to join us but sorry for the reason you're here.
And, sorry that I had to delete your email address from your post - you'll be a victim of spammers otherwise.
This is an old thread and the only member still actively posting here is Traveler.
How about
starting your own thread to get input on peoples' experiences with Zhang's protocol?
Also please let us know if we can help you with anything else. We're all in this together.
Best wishes to you with your healing!!
