I left a response. I don't know if the IDSA will do anything, but it looks like other people (like the non-Lyme people posting answers) are noticing...so even if Lyme just gets more attention, that would be good.

I kind of go between feeling like there are now SO MANY people with Lyme, and so much info out there, that it is just a matter of time before the IDSA and College of physicians (here in Canada) is foreced to change. But then I think that this has been going on for so long, and people have been fighting for so long that it's just NEVER going to change. The IDSAs response kind of enforced that, but I'm trying to take hope from the 1000s posting

The IDSA response was a little disappointing to me, but I'm trying to stay optimistic and focus on the fact that we're at least generating a lot of noise! How does that saying go...the squeaky wheel gets the oil?

yeah the IDSA is deleting responses...and it was rumored that if you didnt answer their question u got deleted....but i posted two or three comments under my page name and got deleted...went up under my real name and wrote the same thing and they hadnt deleted me as of yesterday.....i was so hopeful that this would change something....anything...then when i read their response...i felt sick....and i thought...the IDSA wont listen...the cdc wont listen...but maybe the "healthy public" would listen in fear that they too would be infected if someone didnt do something.....maybe thats what its gonna take is the scare the healthy ones into action...*shrug*...who knows......

This next one is one I found on Lymedisease.org's site - "Once it became clear that the IDSA was deleting some of the Facebook comments, a group of Lyme patients started another Facebook page, called "IDSA Question--All Comments." On this page, they copied over comments as they were posted on the IDSA page, managing to save most of the one's the IDSA deleted."

That response by the IDSA is a croc of....

They are full of it.

No, I don't have hope there. But thankfully there are other organizations that will help.

the comments r still coming......and some of the responses sound like doctors.....i just got a good feeling...it may not change anything right now...but its a start....some responses have actually named some of the CDC members and told them exactly which conflict of intrest they were attatched too.....being VERY SPECIFIC....and theres a book called called "God science" that my doc told me about three days ago and it says what members have what bacteria they have patents on....ima get that book....

haha "reedon-culous"........i say that sometimes too...lol....and its a shame that we have to fight this bacteria that has invaded us and plus fight the people who took an oath to protect us.....im ready for some dang rest....
