could this be lyme?

apologies first because i feel a little out of it as write this, so bare with me...

i just wanted to check if this sounds like lymes to anyone or something similar?
this is what has happened so far..

On new years eve (before i started drinking) i felt a little strange in the head, I thought nothing of it and continued with my night. It wasn't until 2/3 days later i went into a haze like state and my vision was really odd 24/7. After this i had problems concentrating and began forgetting lots of thing and became disorientated easily.. as a result of this i had really bad panic attacks and anxiety because i didn't know what was happening to me. I went to see a doctor at the hospital and told me i am just tired (which i think is a load of crap) I've seen 3 other doctors and none of them know what it is, i've had a blood and urine test and has come back fine.

This has been going on for nearly 2 weeks and i've noticed other things..
my neck is stiff, i get stiff hands every now and then, my cheek bone area feels a tiny bit numb, my jaw aches sometimes, i mild pain or a discomforting feeling behind my eyes/sinus (never sharp pain) usually before i fall asleep, i feel weaker than usual, been having nightmares , my ears are far more sensitive, and my knees have had mild pain when walking sometimes (with my vision constantly feeling strange and my head in fog)

Luckily my head feels like its getting a little clearer each day since monday..

it was only yesterday that i remembered just over a month ago in the night i was scratching my head and in the morning i combed out a tiny bug, i think it had bitten me because i had a lump on the back of my head/top my neck.. at the time i thought nothing of it. i was living on a canal boat in central bristol when this happened, is it still possible it could be lyme?

We also have a pretty good search function on this forum to help you narrow down your search for information from past posts. We must be our own health advocates now and the best thing to arm yourself with is knowledge about our infections and the different ways to treat them!

Considering you had some kind of bug come from your hair and there was a lump left just a month earlier, it probably would be best for you to be evaluated for the tick-borne infections. You really do need to see a Doctor who has a lot of knowledge in treating these infections as they are so very complex. Below you will see ways to get some LLMD's (Lyme Literate Medical Doctors) names. You can also activate your email address here on this site and start a new post titled something like "Looking for a LLMD in the __________ area." Be sure to not list your actual address, as everyone visiting this site will be able to read it, but only members will have access to your email address.
