Hi all !!!
Quick update: I am now off ABX again after a mini relapse which required another month of Flagyl + Biaxin. Feeling good again. Hope it lasts!
Now for my question: Over the past year and a half, Lyme pain has sent me in for multiple MRI scans--- ankle, shoulder, knee, neck. Nothing is ever found that can explain the pain I had. However......a few days after getting the MRI's, my pain would either disappear never to return, or I would feel significantly better.
I never put two and two together, but now I'm wondering if the electromagnetic properties of the MRI just MIGHT have something to do with my feeling better afterwards.
It is known that electromagnetic therapy is good for the treatment of pain and other things....so.....I'd like to know if anyone here who has gotten MRI's, has ever felt better afterwards?
When I went in for my last MRI on my knee, I asked the MRI technician that very question. Her response was that YES.....people do tell her they feel better afterwards. Hmmmm!
I've done some research since....and have found that there is no place one can go in the U.S. for electromagnetic therapy that has the strength of an MRI machine.....unless you are a horse! The equine veterinary community has found great success in treating horses with MRI-like therapy.
Anyway....I guess this all brings me to the possible significance of the Doug Coil machine which I am currently researching.
Thoughts/experiences anyone?
Also....a hearty WELCOME to all the new members. Hope you will find great success in treating Lyme!
