Could this be it? (New)

I'm 23 years old and I've been sick since 14. I was very athletic and healthy, I went from being the most independent of my siblings to the least... I practically lived out in the woods in Louisiana, I was out playing every day. I remember getting bit by a tick on the back of my neck when I was about 9 or 10. I moved to Florida about a couple years later and I continued to be very active until 14. I was 14 when the first symptoms hit, I had SVT and fevers. My doctors said I suffered from depression and mono. For years, they primarily thought it was depression and didn't believe me about my heart symptoms until I was about 18-19, I had dropped out of school at this point, could not handle it but I tried to go back multiple times. An EMT listened to my heart and said it was irregular and that I should go to the hospital, from then on I went to a Cardiologist who said I have SVT and it could easily be fixed, I'll feel like a new person after the treatment. I had an ablation, the moment I was placed upright in bed hours after, I passed out. I had developed Dysautonomia (Postural Orthrostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) from the ablation, this made me worse. So as I was battling POTS, I slowly became worse. I developed fibromyalgia, arthritis in my spine, joint pain, ibs, and pain in my feet that prevents me from walking after 15-25 minutes on my feet.

At one point my stomach stopped working but I reversed the symptoms with Chlorella and MitoSynergy. As long as I take those two together, my stomach is pretty good but if I stop, I can't eat. My newest symptoms is nausea and vomiting without anything wrong with my stomach. It's not too bad yet but I get easily nauseated now for no reason it seems. I'm falling apart, mostly bedridden with pain everyday... I came across the Lyme documentary that I watched and those people with Lyme, sound just like me.... The creator of MitoSynergy as a friend, suggested I get tested for Lyme. So my POTS specialist is sending over an order to test for the Lyme antibodies and antigen. He said it does not test for co-infection. Despite the results should I continue to search for a doctor that specializes in finding and treating Lyme? If I truly do have it and I've had it since I was a kid, what would be the best treatment for me? Oral antibiotics or IV? My life is miserable but it feels like this could be the answer... my dream in life is to just be healthy and live a simple life with my loved ones. I need a little information and advice on what to do, what doctor to see, etc... I live in the panhandle area of Florida.

I would like to welcome you to the forum, as well. And I would like to second Cheezehead's opinion that you should definitely seek out a Lyme Literate doctor.

The tests for Lyme and the coinfections are pretty inaccurate; they are designed to detect the antibodies for the disease while the very nature of the disease means that antibody production is suppressed. So you need to be diagnosed clinically by some who knows what you are doing.

Other than that, the best thing you can do for yourself is to learn everything you can about the disease.
