Hey, I know people like to hear good stories, so I want to let you all know that I feel normal.
I no longer feel like I got beat up after I exercise, play a sport, or ride my bike. I feel a little sore for a few days, rather than extremely sore for a month.
I no longer feel a painful, 5-day hangover from a moderate amount of alcohol. I now have very minimal/no hangover after several drinks, just like it used to be.
My heart rate is just about
where it used to be, before I was sick.
Same with my energy levels.
Chest pains are greatly diminished in severity and frequency.
Very little "arthritis" pain, stiff neck, muscle soreness.
I don't feel sick at all.
I probably still have some inflammation but it's getting better, and I know that I had some of that going on, even before lyme.
Also, with treatment, I cleared up a few symptoms that I had before getting sick. I used to have a thick white coating on the back of my tongue, which in traditional chinese medicine they would say means I had "gunk" in intestines, probably because my diet is horrible. I believe due to the enzymes (and maybe the herbs too), that's cleared up. I couldn't believe it, but one day I looked in the mirror and my tongue was normal tongue color.
Anyways, I don't think I'm 100% better but probably about
90% better. I don't even consider myself as having lyme anymore, although I will continue treatment for a while just to be sure.
